Destiny 1, while still accessible, largely ceded its prominence to Destiny 2 in 2017. Despite this shift in focus, Bungie has continued to integrate legacy content from the original game into its sequel, including popular raids and exotic weapons. As of now, Bungie remains silent on the matter. The year 2017 marked a significant transition for the franchise, with all live events migrating to Destiny 2.
