In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, many items can be purchased or pilfered, but sometimes crafting is necessary. Here's how to acquire deer skin.
Where to Find Deer Skin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
As the name implies, deer skin is obtained by skinning deer. This requires unlocking a relevant survival perk. Once unlocked, you can skin deer encountered in the game's forests. Deer are relatively common, so finding them shouldn't be difficult. However, hunting isn't your only option.
Where to Buy Deer Skin
While hunting is an option, you can also purchase deer skin from various NPCs:
- Weaponsmiths and blacksmiths at Trosky Castle
- Saddlers at Trosky Castle
- Tanners at Vidlak Pond
- Gamekeepers at Zhelejov
Many traders in settlements across the game sell deer skin, often replenishing their stock weekly. The NPCs at Trosky Castle tend to have a larger supply, but smaller settlements offer alternatives. Note that the gamekeeper at Zhelejov might occasionally be unavailable for trading; in such cases, pickpocketing may be a last resort.
