Dead Island 2's Patch 6 unleashes New Game Plus (NG+), allowing players to replay the game at increased difficulty with their existing character, inventory, and enhanced abilities. Enjoy three extra skill slots, a higher level cap, new weapons and skins, and face off against formidable new enemies: the Revenants. These powerful Apex zombie variants boast new behaviors and increased strength, promising a significantly harder challenge. To counter this, all weapons in NG+ are more powerful, with a greater variety of fixed-rarity weapons to discover.
Neighborhood Watch: A New Horde Mode
The update also introduces "Neighborhood Watch," a blend of horde and tower defense gameplay. Players must defend their base for five in-game days, fending off relentless zombie hordes while completing objectives to earn valuable gear.
