How to Make the Dawning Neomun-Cake in Destiny 2

This year's Destiny 2 Dawning event lets you bake treats for NPCs using collected ingredients. While most recipes remain familiar, new ones appear each year. Here's how to craft the Neomun-Cake.

Neomun-Cake Ingredients and Acquisition

To bake a Neomun-Cake in Destiny 2, you'll need:

• Vex Milk (from defeating Vex enemies)
• Dark Frosting (from defeating enemies using Stasis or Strand abilities/weapons)
• 15 Dawning Essence (earned through various in-game activities)

Dawning Essence is readily acquired through regular gameplay, including weekly and daily challenges.

For efficient ingredient farming, equip a Stasis or Strand weapon (abilities also work). Nessus offers a high concentration of Vex, making it an ideal location. You can gather Vex Milk by exploring Nessus or tackling Lost Sectors. Strikes also yield Vex kills, but direct exploration on Nessus is often faster.

Baking the Neomun-Cake

Once you've gathered all ingredients, open your inventory and select Eva Levante's Holiday Oven 2.4. Select the Neomun-Cake recipe to begin baking.

The Dawning often involves delivering various baked goods to different NPCs. The Neomun-Cake is a requirement for some quests, such as the Cookie Delivery Helper quest, which also demands older recipes like Lavender Ribbon Cookies.
