Unlocking All Dark Instruments in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Goro Majima's "Sea Dog" fighting style in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth boasts four devastating finishers, but acquiring all the Dark Instruments to unlock them is a challenging journey. This guide details the steps to obtain each instrument.
1. The Dark God's Violin:

This is the first and story-critical instrument. It's obtained during a Chapter 2 side quest triggered by a crew member's request. This involves confronting the Devil Flag pirates, defeating their fleet (focus on the boss ship), and then engaging in a 100-enemy brawl on a nearby island. Victory unlocks the Violin. This also introduces the main Devil Flag captains: Yakuza, Ronin, Shinobi, and Zeus. Defeating them is optional for the main story but necessary for all Dark Instruments.
2. The Dark God's Ocarina:

After the initial brawl, collect 70 Devil Flags by defeating their ships and occupying islands. This unlocks Atali Island. Prepare a strong landing party to overcome multiple enemy waves and defeat Captain Yakuza to claim the Ocarina.
3. The Dark God's Guitar:

Following Captain Yakuza's defeat, another 100-enemy battle ensues. Gather 130 Devil Flags, then sail to the Flame Entrance Lighthouse. Conquer four challenging treasure islands (Sunset, Heatwave, Welldone, Scorching Heat – remember, no health items allowed!), defeat another fleet, and finally, face Captain Ronin on Flame Island (Jason, Masaru, Minami, and Saejima are recommended crew members). Victory yields the Guitar.
4. The Dark God's Saxophone:

Reaching Pirate Rank Four and collecting 220 Devil Flags are prerequisites. Sail to the Frost Entrance Lighthouse, battle the Devil Flag fleet, and conquer four more frigid islands (Snowview, Coldwave, Icicle Island, Glacial). Defeat Captain Shinobi on Frost Island after navigating several battles and a recovery area. A final confrontation with Zeus follows, though obtaining the Saxophone doesn't require defeating him.
By following these steps, you'll acquire all four Dark Instruments in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, enhancing Goro Majima's combat prowess.
