Finnish game studio Kuuasema has unveiled Cthulu Keeper, a humorous strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's works and the spirit of Bullfrog's Dungeon Keeper (1997). Currently in development for PC, the game tasks players with building a thriving cult, spreading fear and chaos throughout the 1920s.
Players construct their lair, research forbidden arts, and summon Lovecraftian monsters to expand their influence. Recruitment drives, street canvassing, and objective completion are key to growth. However, rival cults and the authorities pose a constant threat, requiring the strategic use of traps and spells to defend the hard-earned domain.
