Complete Master Schindel's Toys in KC:D2

Unlocking Master Schindel's Toys in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

This guide details how to complete the challenging Master Schindel's Toys quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This side quest becomes available during the main story mission, "Into the Underworld."

Speak to Goatskin to begin the quest.

The quest begins by tracking down an informant named Goatskin. He can be found by speaking with the Bathhouse Madam and then Adam at the bathhouse in Kuttenberg. Adam reveals Goatskin's theft of Master Schindel's belongings.

Locate Goatskin by following Udo, a bathhouse patron who visits in the evening. Follow Udo discreetly; Goatskin will attempt to rob him in a nearby alley, providing an opportunity for confrontation.

Interrogating Goatskin may yield a map ("Map of Kuttenberg Underground") located on a corpse at the Kuttenberg gallows (southeastern city). If persuasion fails, bribery will secure the map.

The quickest route to the stolen items is via a ladder entrance on the northern side of the open area near the gallows. The underground is dark; use a torch. Follow a path of predominantly left turns, including a necessary jump down to a lower level, until you reach a barrel at a dead end. This barrel contains the stolen book and astrolabe.

Return to Master Schindel (usually found northeast of the city during the day) with the recovered items to complete the quest. He'll reward you and may even share some astronomical knowledge.

Completing this short quest provides reputation and rewards.
