Unfrozen unveils a new teaser showcasing the Dungeon faction in their upcoming turn-based strategy game, Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era. This deeper dive reveals more units than previously shown.
"Beyond showcasing the remaining factions," the developers explain, "we wanted to fill in gaps from our initial Dungeon preview. We're also introducing our more elusive third-tier units! Note that some abilities and combat stances from the first video might differ, but this focuses on what was previously absent."
The Dungeon faction includes classic units such as troglodytes, minotaurs, medusas, and dragons, each with powerful upgraded forms featuring boosted stats and unique abilities. The Infernal Hydra, for example, boasts a passive ability that mitigates incoming damage over multiple turns, making it a powerful battlefield presence.
The video provides a glimpse into the current animations and unit statistics. However, the developers emphasize that balance changes are possible before the game's official release.
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era is slated for Early Access release in Q2 2025, with a full launch to follow.
