Lenovo Legion Go S: SteamOS on a Handheld
Lenovo unveiled the Legion Go S, the world's first officially licensed SteamOS handheld. Announced January 7th, 2025, this device boasts an 8-inch VRR1-supported screen, TrueStrike controllers with adjustable triggers and hall-effect joysticks, and seamless cloud save and remote play functionality with PCs.
Full Steam integration, including access to the Steam library, cloud, chat, and recording features, is included. System updates are handled directly through SteamOS.
The SteamOS version launches in May 2025 at $499.99 USD, while a Windows version will be available earlier in January 2025, starting at $729.99 USD. Valve also confirmed its work on expanding SteamOS support to other handheld devices.
