Ten years of peaceful Sims life comes to an end—burglars are back! The Sims 4 developers have announced a highly anticipated (though perhaps not universally welcomed) update: the return of burglaries.
Just like in previous Sims games, installing a home security system is your first line of defense. Trigger the alarm, and the police will swiftly apprehend the culprit. Skilled Sims can upgrade the alarm system for improved reliability and automatic police alerts. If you're caught off guard without an alarm, you can try calling the police directly, hoping for a timely response, or even attempting to befriend the burglar—a risky but potentially rewarding strategy.
For those with expansion packs, even more creative solutions are available. Unleash your pets, summon supernatural allies (spellcasters, vampires, or werewolves), or even freeze the burglar with a specialized ray!
