What Can You Do After You Finish Assassin’s Creed Shadows? Answered

After you complete the main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the game world remains open for you to explore. The rich, detailed environment of Feudal Japan is filled with side content that you can continue to enjoy even after the main storyline concludes. You're free to delve deeper into the world, discovering all it has to offer.

Additionally, Ubisoft will introduce new weekly challenges through the Animus post-launch, ensuring that even after achieving 100% completion, there will be fresh content to engage with.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained

Even after the credits roll, your journey in Assassin’s Creed Shadows might not be over. In my playthrough, the credits appeared after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests for Yasuke and Naoe. However, I hadn't yet unlocked the trophy for finishing Act 3 or The Epilogue.

To experience the true ending and the epilogue, you must complete the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro. After that, return to the Hideout and speak with Tomiko. This will unlock the complete ending of Assassin’s Creed Shadows and the related achievements.

As you near the game's conclusion, you can unlock exclusive gear themed around the Assassins for Naoe and the Templars for Yasuke. These armor sets come with unique perks that enhance each protagonist's playstyle and are a treat for fans of the Assassin’s Creed series.

Even post-credits, you can continue to level up until you reach the game's maximum level cap.

What’s Next For Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

While the main story of Assassin’s Creed Shadows concludes at launch, the adventure doesn't end there. New content will be added through the Animus, and the in-game store will likely receive updates with new items. Furthermore, a story expansion titled The Claws of Awaji is set to release in 2025, taking players to the Island of Awaji for over 10 hours of additional content.
