Konosuba: Fantastic Days Shuts Down; Offline Version Coming?

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, the popular mobile RPG by Sesisoft, is set to conclude its service on January 30th, 2025. After nearly five years, both the global and Japanese servers will shut down simultaneously. However, developers are planning a limited offline version, allowing players to relive the main storyline, key quests, and events. Details regarding this offline version remain scarce.

In-App Purchases and Refunds:

To ensure a smooth closure, in-app purchases were disabled on October 31st, 2024. Existing Quartz and other in-game items remain usable until the service ends. Players eligible for refunds on unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 can apply until January 30th, 2025. Official channels will close on February 28th, 2025.

A Look Back at KonoSuba: Fantastic Days:

Initially launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days was the first mobile game based on the KonoSuba franchise. The game presented a charming narrative set in a world threatened by the Devil King's army, featuring appealing visuals and a visual novel-style story mode. Unfortunately, like many gacha RPGs, it faces closure, a trend affecting numerous anime games this year due to challenges in maintaining player engagement and high production costs.

With only a few months remaining, now is the perfect time to experience KonoSuba: Fantastic Days before its servers go offline. Download it from the Google Play Store. For more gaming news, check out our article on Orna: The GPS MMORPG's Conqueror's Guild for PvP Battles.
