About Hazari:
Hazari is a captivating four-player card game played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player receives 13 cards, and the objective is to arrange them in descending order from highest to lowest. Once a player is satisfied with their arrangement, they signal they are "UP." The game begins when all players are UP, starting with the player to the right of the dealer.
Players take turns throwing cards, with the highest card value winning the round and taking all the cards played. The winner then leads the next round. Points are calculated at the end of each game, with cards from Ace (A) to 10 worth 10 points each, and cards from 9 to 2 worth 5 points each. The ultimate goal is to accumulate 1000 points over multiple games to win.
Gameplay Mechanics:
The game follows a structured sequence where players throw cards in sets of three, followed by another set of three, and then a final set of four. The player with the highest-value cards in each round wins the cards and leads the next throw. This continues until all cards are played, and points are tallied.
Card Ranking:
- TROY: Three of a kind (e.g., AAA, KKK, QQQ).
- COLOR RUN: Three consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., AKQ of Spades).
- RUN: Three consecutive cards of any suit (e.g., AKQ mixed suits).
- COLOR: Any three cards of the same suit (e.g., K83 of Spades).
- PAIR: Two cards of the same rank with any third card (e.g., 443).
- INDI: Three cards of different ranks and suits (e.g., 5 of Hearts, 7 of Spades, 9 of Diamonds).
How to Play:
Players start by organizing their 13 cards into groups of 3, 3, 3, and 4. The first player throws their highest set of three cards, and others follow suit. The winner of each round continues to lead, throwing their next highest set of cards until all cards are played. The game continues until one player reaches the coveted 1000 points.
