Application Description If you're a fan of mystery and intrigue, the 'DETECTIVE' board game from Estrela is a must-have. Use your device to jot down your suspicions and prove you're the ultimate detective!
In 'DETECTIVE', you're tasked with solving the mysterious murder of Mr. Carlos Fortuna. The game revolves around guessing the correct location, weapon, and person responsible for the crime. With each round, players can eliminate possibilities, narrowing down the options until only a few cards remain, setting the stage for the final accusation. The first player to correctly identify all three elements wins the game.
To enhance realism, the game now includes calls, messages, and videos from witnesses on your device, offering crucial clues and tips about the murder. However, be cautious—not every witness will lead you directly to the killer!
The game features 8 characters, 8 weapons, and 11 locations, providing a rich and varied backdrop for your detective work.
In this mode, your smartphone or tablet serves as an extension of the board game, enhancing the gameplay with digital hints. At the beginning, choose from 3 to 8 characters: SARGENTO MUSTAGODE, SERIOUS MARINHO, MISS ROSA, SERGIO SOTURNO, DONA BRANCA, TONY GOURMET, DONA VIOLET, and BUTLER JAMES. Three cards are randomly selected from the deck and scanned using the game's QR Code system. These cards reveal the assassin, the weapon used, and the crime scene.
Stay alert, as your device may ring during play, delivering anonymous tips from witnesses. In addition to calls, players can receive text messages and videos, adding an extra layer of excitement and realism to the game. Note that the voice call feature is only available on mobile phones.
