Unleash your creativity with the Cross Stitch Pattern Creator, a versatile tool designed to help you design your own unique cross stitch patterns. The app comes pre-loaded with four sample patterns and is available for free download, with an activation fee of just $2.99. For the best experience, we recommend using a tablet due to the large size of cross stitch patterns.

To start crafting your personalized cross stitch patterns, simply tap the "Create a Cross Stitch Pattern" button. This will open the Cross Stitch Pattern Editor, where you can fill in the squares using DMC floss colors. Feel free to add custom colors to make your design truly one-of-a-kind.

Begin your creative journey by using the pencil tool to fill in the squares of your pattern. If you make a mistake, the eraser tool is there to help you clear filled squares. Enhance your design further by selecting from over 80 stamps and borders, which you can apply directly to your pattern.

The button bar at the bottom of the editor offers a variety of tools to refine your work:

• DMC Floss Color Button: Choose the floss color you want to use.
• Save Button: Save your current pattern.
• Pencil Button: Fill in squares on your pattern.
• Eraser Button: Clear filled squares and backstitch lines.
• Backstitch Button: Select a color for backstitch, then add lines to your pattern.
• Backstitch Move Button: Drag a backstitch to a new location.
• Backstitch Move Stitch End Button: Adjust the ends of a backstitch.
• Stamps Button: Add little cross stitch designs to your pattern.
• Borders Button: Choose borders that automatically wrap around your pattern.
• Dropper Button: Extract a color from your pattern to add more of that color.
• Bucket Button: Fill selected areas with the current color.
• Bucket+ Button: Replace one color with another.
• Undo Button: Reverse your last change.
• Redo Button: Reapply changes you've undone.
• Selection Box Button: Select an area to cut, copy, rotate, or flip.
• Cut Button: Remove the selected area of your pattern.
• Copy Button: Copy the selected area to the clipboard.
• Paste Button: Paste the copied area and drag it to the desired location.
• Rotate Button: Rotate the selected area or the entire pattern.
• Flip Right/Left Button: Flip the selected area or the entire pattern horizontally.
• Flip Top/Bottom Button: Flip the selected area or the entire pattern vertically.
• Zoom In Button: Enlarge the view of your pattern.
• Zoom Out Button: Reduce the view of your pattern.
• Symbols Button: Display unique symbols for each color to indicate its value.
• Picture Button: Convert a photo from your device into a pattern.
• Social Media Button: Share your pattern via email, text, or other platforms.
• Resize Bars: Adjust the size of your pattern by dragging the bars at the bottom right corner.
• Option Settings: Customize grid color, fill style (Solid or X's), and toggle the row/column counter display.
• Instruction Page: View the DMC colors used and calculate finished sizes for different Aida Cloth sizes.
• Finished Product Page: Preview what your pattern will look like once stitched, with the option to change the fabric color.
